Senior Director, People and Culture
Margaret Kurtz is the Senior Director of People & Culture at Cambrian Bio, where she leads people strategy across a growing portfolio of biotech companies, including Rapalogix Health. As one of Cambrian’s early employees, Margaret built the HR function from the ground up, scaling teams across R&D, clinical, and G&A functions while partnering closely with scientific founders and executive leadership to shape organizational design, drive culture, and enable rapid growth. She has led initiatives spanning executive recruitment, global employment compliance, compensation and equity design, leadership development, and change management.
Prior to Cambrian, Margaret served as Director of Talent & Recruitment at the Rutgers University Foundation, where she oversaw recruitment, DE&I, and talent management initiatives in support of the university’s philanthropic mission. She also held talent acquisition and recruitment roles at DRG Executive Search and the United Nations Foundation.
Margaret holds a B.A. in Psychology from The George Washington University and brings over a decade of HR experience, with a passion for building high-performing teams and guiding organizations through periods of growth and transformation.
