Veteran medical aesthetics executive brings more than two decades of commercial leadership from Allergan, ALASTIN Skincare, and Sinclair
CARLSBAD, CA, August 3, 2026 - Rapalogix Health, a biotechnology company pioneering a new category of longevity-based skin health, announced today the appointment of Amber Edwards to its Board of Directors.
Edwards is a veteran of the medical aesthetics space with more than 25 years of leadership across pharmaceuticals, medical aesthetics, and medical devices, spanning both entrepreneurial start-ups and specialty pharmaceutical companies with global footprints. She is the Founder and CEO of EncorVita Health, a platform built to help premium aesthetic clinics deliver evidence-based women's health and perimenopause care. Earlier in her career, Edwards played a formative role in the early commercial launches of Botox and Juvederm during her tenure at Allergan, where she held US and international leadership roles across Aesthetics and Ophthalmology, guiding RESTASIS to blockbuster status and later overseeing strategic marketing and execution for the Aesthetics portfolio across all ex-US markets. She went on to serve as Chief Commercial Officer of ALASTIN Skincare, helping drive the brand's rapid growth ahead of its acquisition by Galderma, and most recently as Global CEO of Sinclair, a medical aesthetics company with 16 device solutions across more than 55 countries. Edwards began her healthcare career as a Parke-Davis sales representative, later leading sales training for the company's women's health division before its 2000 acquisition by Pfizer, and went on to hold marketing leadership roles at Pfizer, including on the femHRT team.

Edwards joins Rapalogix Health's Board of Directors, which brings together leaders across biotechnology, dermatology, longevity science, and healthcare investment, including James Peyer, PhD, Doris Day, MD, Brent Saunders, Juliette Han, PhD, David Nicholson, PhD, Craig Gordon, MD, and Neetu Dhaliwal. As a member of the board, she will work alongside Rapalogix Health's leadership team to help guide the company's commercial strategy and physician channel expansion as Rapalogix continues to scale Re-Q Health and advance RLX-201, while also advancing its pipeline of prescription therapeutics, including RLX-202 for aesthetic dermatology.
